Next EventsSummer's Here, June EventsOur primary events for June are:the Boas and Tiaras tea at the Dallas Arboretum. We went dressed in our favorite tiaras and boas and had a great time. Check out our photos: Boas and Tiaras fun Ann Aguirre will be coming to town for a special book club meeting on Wednesday, June 17th. Be sure to join us for what will be a fun evening. RSVP to the list or Sara. Looking forward to July and more fun! Several authors will be in town including Jane Green and a big signing for Dakota and Candace no one will want to miss! Tiaras and Boas TeaSave the date, Saturday June 13th, 2009, to join us for our "Tiaras and Boas" with fellow readers, daughters, friends, granddaughters and special guests! Get out your tiara, brush off the boa and join us at the Dallas Arboretum for a high tea with champagne. Price is $38 for the tea, or $45 for tea with champagne. Our Readers ConferenceFresh Fiction is holding the second annual "Readers 'n 'ritas Conference" on Friday, November 12th to Saturday, November 13th. Cost is only $100 ($75 if you purchase before August 1st) and includes lunch, dinner and at least one margarita (or other beverage). Plans include a book swap, discussion groups, and just generally a FABULOUS time held by all! We'll also need volunteers to help! What's the DFW Tea Readers Group and Book Club?A book club for romance, mystery, science fiction/fantasy readers and authors in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. We do a monthly tea at a tearoom around the metroplex, alternating east and west sides, as well as trips to Denton and Duncanville, plus our fabulous Holiday Tea. If you read and love to discuss your books and authors, this is a great group with lively on-line discussion as well as the opportunity to meet in person. The book club meets on the second Saturday of each month for tea and on the third Wednesday for dinner and an author call-in. Members also attend many signings in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
