Karen Hawkins

New York Times best-selling author Karen Hawkins writes. A lot. At home. Sitting on her patio. In the nude.

Ok, ok, she's kidding about the 'in the nude' part. But the rest of it's true.

Karen has written over 15 historical romances and one contemporary romance. She writes for Pocket Books and is currently finishing up her Regency set historical series about the MacLean Curse -- the final two books will be out in August and September of 2009.

She also writes Southern-fried contemporary romances set in a little town in North Carolina. Her first contemporary, TALK OF THE TOWN, is on the shelves now and will be followed by at least one (and hopefully many more) sequels!

Karen currently lives in Orlando, FL, home of Micky Mouse and assorted other creatures with long tails. She has a dark obsession with All Things Hugh Jackman.
